Rack Tracker Terms of Use
Last updated 31 October 2026
In short: the Rack Tracker is free until 30 November 2026. Your shop's fleet list is kept on Trail-Ops so your crew can share it, and only to run your tracker. Download your fleet status before your tracker closes; the Excel file is yours to keep.
1. What this is
The Rack Tracker is a free tool from Trail-Ops for a rental shop's winter delivery: receiving it, pairing and mounting bindings, barcoding, and laying out and filling its racks. It is free until the end of 30 November 2026, Pacific time. There is no card and no contract.
2. Who can use it
Rental shops that Trail-Ops sets up. By ticking the box in set-up you confirm you are your shop's manager, or that your shop has allowed you to use the Rack Tracker for it, and you agree to these terms for your shop.
3. Your fleet list
What you upload, and what your crew records, is kept on the Trail-Ops platform so every device on your link sees the same order. That includes your models, lengths, barcodes, bindings, what has been received, mounted and barcoded, and your rack layout.
- Trail-Ops can see it, and uses it only to run your tracker and to help you with it.
- We don't sell it, and we don't pass it to other shops or to suppliers.
- Order confirmations you upload are read by an AI service (Anthropic) to fill in your list. Prices are never kept.
4. Your link
Your tracker opens from a private link. Anyone with the link can open your tracker, so share it only with your crew. If it gets out, email us and we'll stop it and send you a new one.
5. When it ends
- When everything is racked, downloading your final fleet status closes your tracker.
- All free trackers stop at the end of 30 November 2026, Pacific time. Download your fleet status before then.
- We delete a tracker's fleet list 90 days after its link stops working.
6. Your sign-up details
When you ask for a tracker we keep your shop's name, your name, email, town and anything else you give us, so we can set you up and, if you ask, tell you about the full Trail-Ops platform. We delete them 90 days after we've dealt with your request.
7. No guarantees
The Rack Tracker is free and provided as it is. Check your counts, barcodes and bindings as you normally would. Trail-Ops isn't responsible for losses from mistakes in the tracker, time it's unavailable, or lost data, so keep your own copy of your stock list.
8. Changes and questions
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Questions: david@trailops.app.
